Fish Curry, for the soul
Today I made a Fish curry, central Kerala style. This is the type of curry that my ammai(aunt) makes at home back in kerala. I loved it and then I found a recipe for it on a food blog called kitchen mishmash. The recipe worked wonders. It was really close to the taste of the fish curry that I had from Kerala. The recipe has only one probs it requires you to squeeze out fresh coconut milk!!!! But you can always use the instant alternatives.. but believe me, taste wise the long way round works best. However it was a hit today. I made a big meen chatti (a claypot to make curries) full of this curry and bought some porotta from the nearby restaurant. There just one porotta left and just a small container of the curry left...
